Shipping methods and costs

The shipment of products is normally done by express courier, the products are packed individually and with adequate protections.

Rhum & Whisky protects its customers in case they receive a broken product. Therefore, the Customer is required to carefully check the packaging and to report any problems and / or breakages to the courier in a precise manner and not to proceed with the collection. In case of non-collection due to breakage problems of the products, Rhum & Whisky undertakes to replace or fully refund the damaged products. The refund or the reshipment of the products will take place only upon the return of the package to our warehouse. If the customer collects the product and subsequently reports the problem, Rhum & Whisky reserves the right not to proceed with resending the order or refund.

Orders are normally processed in 1-2 business days, after payment has been verified. Delivery times normally vary between 2 and 5 working days from shipment but are to be considered indicative and not binding so in case of force majeure Rhum & Whiskey will not be held responsible for the delay in delivery.

Rhum & Whisky will send at the time of shipment and once it has received the number from the courier, an email with the tracking number of the shipment. In the event that the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the Customer can arrange the return directly with the courier.

The delivery by the Courier is carried out on weekdays and during normal working hours, therefore it is necessary to indicate an address where there is someone who can receive the shipment and a telephone number to allow our Customer Service or the Courier to contact the buyer.

Shipping prices refer to the shipping package. For shipments, the following rates apply:

  • Tariffa in tutta Italia (€ 10,5 + IVA)
  • Rate for shipments outside Italy, the cost of transport will be calculated in the cart.
  • For orders over € 600, approximately 1.5% will be added to the cost of shipping for insurance.

Shipments outside the EU may be subject to import charges, these are charged to the buyer. In this case, Rhum & Whisky applies the Incoterm DDU rule, "Delivery Duty Unpaid", and does not collect VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If your order requires such additional costs, they will need to be paided separately in order for your package to be cleared through customs.

We recommend that you pay the utmost attention to checking the physical condition of the packaging and of the products requested once they have been received.
