Some players choose to prioritize maxing out their Physical attributes (Speed, Strength, Vertical, and Agility) and Free Throw at the start of their careers. These attributes may contribute little to Overall Rating or serve as requirements for specific animations. “Out of position attributes” are those that, when fully maximized under this build, do not contribute any points to Overall Rating. These represent the dead weight in your build, and I’ve outlined their costs in case players wish to max them out early to focus on more critical qualities later on when they’re earning more VC through gameplay.

Best Value Attribute: 3-Point Shot - This attribute offers an excellent return for its cost, both in terms of Overall Rating and versatility in gameplay, given the shift toward three-point shooting in modern basketball.
Least Value Attribute: Mid-Range Shot - Although it may seem essential for post-faders or step-back shots, Mid-Range Shot contributes minimally to Overall Rating, especially considering how rarely it’s utilized in-game scenarios.

This build has one of the lowest dead-weight burdens among attributes I’ve encountered, which is a double-edged sword since it can lead to greater VC expenses. However, even Perimeter Defense proves useful and valuable considering how often big men are required to defend at the top of the key in today’s defensive schemes. A 7'1" Center may be slower to run the court, so leveraging other attributes is crucial for securing effective positioning for blocks.
For those considering their options, Milwaukee might be a solid choice, as they have 80-rated Brook Lopez, who is approaching the twilight of his career, and they didn’t draft a center in 2024. The team boasts a perfect rating of 99 across the board. While Giannis Antetokounmpo shines as the standout player, every general manager can find a role for a 7'1" talent. The Pelicans and Warriors also present good opportunities, both having drafted centers but not until the 21st pick. Teams like the Knicks or Charlotte, focused on rebuilding, are always promising options as well.
